From ancient times, wherever humans have lived, we have celebrated the arrival of spring and summer. Ederlezi is a Romani mid spring festival when everything comes alive after the bitter winter.

An impromptu gig with Cam Neufeld and Bramwell Park from Canada, featuring original music and folk music from around the world .... with special guests.
Cam plays a swirling sonic mix of original music that has been described as " a grab bag of tango's , jigs , waltz's , swing numbers and blues all performed with verve and immaculate taste". Added to this are the flavors and sounds of India , Persia, Turkey, and the Balkans from Cams recent travels.

Canadian singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, Bramwell Park has dedicated his life to the preservation and creation of music. Heavily involved in the Canadian indie-roots music scene, he can be heard playing any number of instruments, from drums, to banjo, to guitar, to mandolin, contributing his talents to many different projects, and has also released two solo albums under the name 'Bramwell and the Left Overs'.

Handsome Don Ross will also be featured playing clarinet. He plays an eclectic mix of classical, free-jazz, and avant-guarde.
Cam, Bram, and Don have just completed a 3 week gig in Keelung performing Turkish music with the Vinok dance troupe at the Ghost festival.

The Road to Django is a show about Cam Neufeld's travels to India, Turkey, the Balkans, Spain and to the Django festival in Samois in 2010. The idea was to explore the roots of the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli and the quintet of the Hot Club of France. To this end Cam travelled what could be called the " Roma Trail" starting at
The Road to Django is a show about Cam Neufeld's travels to India, Turkey, the Balkans, Spain and to the Django festival in Samois in 2010. The idea was to explore the roots of the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli and the quintet of the Hot Club of France. To this end Cam travelled what could be called the " Roma Trail" starting at the birthplace of Romani People in Rajasthan. All pieces were composed while travelling, inspired by the many musicians and music encountered along the way. Many thanks to everyone who worked on this show!
